HAPPY FEMALE PRESIDENT'S DAY

FEMALE PRESIDENTS of the WORLD

Some women have held the office for one to two days only and others for years. The first female head of state was Sühbaataryn Yanjmaa in Mongolia from 1953-54. San Marino has had eight female presidents. (Where is San Marino?) Mary Robinson held her Presidency in Ireland for over six years. Currently, there are female presidents in two countries: Liberia (Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf) and Chile (Michelle Bachelet Jeria).
