Coming up May is the Birding & Nature Festival in St. Augustine.
During my visit last year, I caught this shot of a Zebra butterfly alight on a native species of flower at the Greathouse Butterfly Farm Encounter, an outdoor, netted enclosure filled with butterlies.
I also attended a slideshow seminar on Florida bats, complete with the viewing of one species of these little fellows up close, and another workshop on identifying Florida frog & toad calls.
Can't wait for this year's Festival..
