I am, admittedly, not well versed on the historic conflict between Israel, Palestine and Hamas. Yet, it takes no historical analysis to understand bloodshed. There's nothing to interpret when a country bombarbs its neighbors' buildings, homes, mosques and kills living beings, citizens who are without protection. This is what Israel is doing to the people of Gaza. Am I am simplifying a complex situation? Yes. And No. Vioence begets violence. It is an enduring cycle, one as old as scripture. Listen as Bill Moyers calmly, fluently and persuasively asks for the violence to end.
