No, these are some magazine subscriptions and a pile of books I've collected over the past month or so.
The first edition of Leaves of Grass is an interesting read in context. More interesting to me are Whitman's early newspaper columns -- I have them here if you are interested in them and cannot find them.
Was this the Brooklyn paper? Were they opinion pieces? yes, I'm interested. Thanks Mel!
