My faces

I've taken a scary step by posting a photo of myself after blogging for over two years. The fear is not about recognition. It's not about dissatisfaction. Those are the usual things that cause people to shun a camera. It's about permanency - how an image is locked into one's mind. How that image becomes that person. How the dynamics of personhood are exchanged for the ease and dependency of a graphic rather than the difficult task of knowing someone, minute by minute.

Anyway, it's up. But I am not always a smiling person. Here's another of my faces: this is called "Impatience."
